LVGEM(China) was listed as one of the Influential Hong Kong Stock Connect Companies once again. On 19 October, the Ceremony of 2018 Golden Wing Awards for Hong Kong Stock Connect Companies organised by the Securities Times was held at Four Seasons Hotel Shenzhen. LVGEM(China) Real Estate Investment Company Limited (“LVGEM (China)”, stock code: 0095.HK) was selected as one of the Influential Hong Kong Stock Connect Companies in the 2018 Golden Wing Awards, earning high recognition from the capital market.
The ceremony brought together big names from the capital market and more than a hundred of executives from Hong Kong Stock Connect companies who discussed the economic trends, market investment strategies for Hong Kong Stock Connect and future trends of industrial economy with their counterparts. Jacus Chan, general manager of the investor relations department of LVGEM (China), attended the ceremony and received the award on behalf of the company.
As China’s securities market is becoming more mature and the Hong Kong Stock Connect business is undergoing rapid development, the Hong Kong market now receives more attention from the investors in the mainland who have started to look for capable Hong Kong Stock Connect companies. As of 27 September 2018, over RMB700 billion has flown into the Hong Kong stock market from the mainland through Shanghai Connect and Shenzhen Connect. The funds from the mainland have become a strong force in the Hong Kong stock market.
The evaluation involved more than 150 Hong Kong Stock Connect companies, including Agricultural Bank, Sinopec, Vanke, Evergrande, Hengan International, Meitu and Kingdee. The aggregate market capitalization of these companies exceeded HK$10 trillion.
LVGEM(China) was selected as one of the Influential Hong Kong Stock Connect Companies in the 2018 Golden Wing Awards because of its powerful development capability and strong influence in the capital market. A total of 30 enterprises were selected according to the CAGR of their net profits in the past three years. The final ranking was determined by experts and through online voting.
As a well-known comprehensive real estate developer and commercial property operator in Shenzhen, LVGEM(China) is also one of the first group of eligible securities of Shenzhen Connect and has been favoured by the southbound capital.
